About our 1-Week Course

The IT Fundamentals crash course begins with a history of the internet, computers and their interworkings. Students will dive into specifics such as: CPU, computer storage, operating systems, file access, users and groups, as well as Firewall management. Throughout the course, students will learn the risk and complications with security and how measures are put in place to secure systems. At the end of this course students will have built confidence in IT Fundamentals and could pursue their CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification, with continued study.

Eligibility

  • 18 years of age or older
  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident/Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Commit to working full time for 18 months upon completion of the training program
  • Other eligibility requirements may apply
